5 Minute Brussels Sprouts

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb brussels sprout
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 medium garlic cloves, pressed
  • sea salt and black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 fill the bottom of steamer with 2 inches of water.
  • 2 bring water to low boil.
  • 3 cut brussels sprouts into quarters.
  • 4 press garlic.
  • 5 steam brussels sprouts for 5 minutes.
  • 6 combine olive oil, lemon juice garlic, salt and pepper.
  • 7 place hot brussels sprouts in bowl and top with dressing and toss.
  • 8 you can add garlic in the final 2 minutes of steaming to mellow garlic flavor.
