5 Minute Shrimp

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 whole garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon montreal seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in large non-stick skillet.
  • 2 smash garlic cloves to release scent but do not chop. add garlic, red pepper, and shrimp to oil.
  • 3 cook, stirring to mix, until shrimp begins to turn pink (about 2-3 minutes).
  • 4 add zest, lemon juice, and parsley. toss to mix. remove garlic from pan and discard.
  • 5 remove from heat and serve!
