Ingredients

- 3 (14 ounce) cans artichoke hearts
- 1 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 teaspoons pepper
- 3 large eggs
- oil (for frying)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Recipe
- 1 in shallow bowl combine bread crumbs,cheese, salt and pepper.
- 2 in another shallow bowl beat the eggs.
- 3 heat enough oil in a skillet to reach a depth of 2 inches.
- 4 dip each artichoke heart in the beaten eggs and then dredge in bread crumb mixture.
- 5 fry in hot oil until they are golden brown in small batches, approximately 6-8 minutes.
- 6 drain on paper towels and place in chafing dish.
- 7 serve hot with garlic butter.
