Kicked Up Sausage Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 pound italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 (24 ounce) jars ragu® old world style® traditional sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • favorite pasta (optional)

    Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins Ready Time: 45 mins

  • heat a large, heavy pot over medium heat. add the sausage, ground beef, and onion. cook, stirring constantly, until the meat is completely browned.
  • stir in the ragu® old world style® traditional sauce, garlic, and italian seasoning. bring to a simmer. season with salt and pepper, if desired. reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • serve hot with your family's favorite pasta!
