newcastle® bbq pulled lamb

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 white onion, cubed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 pounds boneless lamb loin roast
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can (such as newcastle® brown )
  • 3 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 8 fluid ounces barbeque sauce
  • 1/2 fluid ounce liquid smoke flavoring

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

    Ready Time: 8 hrs 25 mins

  • place onion, olive oil, and garlic in a slow cooker. arrange lamb over onion mixture and add . season with black pepper.
  • cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. drain and discard liquid from slow cooker. shred lamb with 2 forks and add barbeque sauce and liquid smoke.
  • continue to cook on low for 2 more hours.
