big ray's "only slow cooker pulled lamb you will ever need"

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning
  • 1 (3 pound) lamb shoulder roast
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar giardiniera
  • 2 teaspoons adobo seasoning
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (12 ounce) bottles , or as needed

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

    Ready Time: 6 hrs 15 mins

  • rub seasoning into the lamb shoulder. put lamb shoulder into a slow cooker crock.
  • pour jar of giardiniera with liquid over the lamb. sprinkle adobo seasoning over the lamb and top with onion, cilantro, and garlic. pour enough into the crock so the bottom half of the roast is submerged.
  • cook on low until the roast is falling apart, 6 to 8 hours. shred the lamb with a pair of forks in the slow cooker and stir with the liquid.
