sun-dried tomato spread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

    Preparation Time: 20 mins Ready Time: 20 mins

  • in a blender or food processor, mix tomato paste, basil, olive oil, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, salt, white sugar and garlic salt. blend to the consistency of a spreadable paste. chill in the refrigerator until serving.
