American Fries-market Style

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 5 lbs russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  • 2 wash potatoes and poke with fork.
  • 3 bake potatoes, with skins on, for 25 minutes on top rack of oven.
  • 4 allow potatoes to cool.
  • 5 slice into pieces or slices. slice very thin for chips.
  • 6 squirt 2 teaspoons vegetable into hot cast iron fry pan; season and fry potato pieces until golden crust on each side.
  • 7 season to taste with salt, pepper, and cayenne (known as dale's luv).
  • 8 remove to a dish with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • 9 serve with whatever condiments or toppings that "trips your food chain cravings".
