2 Minute Carbonara

Ingredients

- 1 (85 g) maggi 2-minute noodles (packet, do not use flavour sachet)
- 50 g ham
- 2 basil leaves
- 2 mixed mushrooms
- 2 spring onions
- 1 small garlic clove
- 50 ml thickened cream (double cream)
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
- parmesan cheese (grated or shaved to taste)
- olive oil
Recipe
- 1 cook the noodles as per the pack instructions (don't use flavouring sachet if enclosed).
- 2 finely chop the spring onion, garlic, ham and mushrooms.
- 3 splash olive oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped ingredients all together for 1 minute and then add the cream and heat thoroughly before adding the noodles into the sauce with a splash of the water the noodles were cooked inches.
- 4 crack in the egg and stir through and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5 finish with shredded basil and sprinkle with parmesan and serve.
