Aida's - Gallo Pinto

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups black beans, prepared
  • 1 cup rice, prepared
  • 3/4 small onion
  • 3 fresh garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • 4 tablespoons lizano sauce (you can get it on the internet)
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  • 2 add chicken stock bring to simmer.
  • 3 combine all other ingredients and bring back to a simmer.
  • 4 sauté off moisture to desired consistency (i like it on the wetter side).
