Aussie Sausage Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lbs bulk lamb sausage
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons snipped chives
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (17 1/3 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, combine sausage, onion, chives, basil, garlic, 3/4 teaspoon paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 2 unfold pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
- 3 roll each pastry sheet into a 11 inch by 10 1/2 inch recyangle, and cut widthwise into 3 1/2 inch strips.
- 4 spread 1/2 cup sausage mixture down the center of each strip.
- 5 fold pastry over and press edges to seal.
- 6 cut each roll into 6 pieces.
- 7 place seam side down on a rackin a shallow baking pan, and sprinkle with remaining paprika.
- 8 bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
