Asian Mint Lamb Tenderloin

Ingredients

- 2 lbs lamb tenderloin
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup fresh spearmint, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed hot pepper
- vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 combine everything except the tenderloin and the vegetable oil.
- 2 mix well.
- 3 place tenderloin in a large resealable bag.
- 4 pour marinade over top.
- 5 turn to coat.
- 6 refrigerator for 8 hours.
- 7 preheat grill and coat grates in vegetable oil.
- 8 remove tenderloins from marinade and place on grill over medium high heat.
- 9 grill for 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
- 10 baste with mariande after 10 minutes then discard remaining mariande.
- 11 remove from grill when done, let sit for 5 minutes, then carve into thin slices.
