Asian Mint Lamb Tenderloin

Total Time: 8 hrs 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs lamb tenderloin
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup fresh spearmint, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed hot pepper
  • vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 combine everything except the tenderloin and the vegetable oil.
  • 2 mix well.
  • 3 place tenderloin in a large resealable bag.
  • 4 pour marinade over top.
  • 5 turn to coat.
  • 6 refrigerator for 8 hours.
  • 7 preheat grill and coat grates in vegetable oil.
  • 8 remove tenderloins from marinade and place on grill over medium high heat.
  • 9 grill for 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • 10 baste with mariande after 10 minutes then discard remaining mariande.
  • 11 remove from grill when done, let sit for 5 minutes, then carve into thin slices.
