Bacon Wrapped Venison Tenderloin With Portabella Mushrooms

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 venison tenderloin
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 6 ounces portabella mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  • 2 combine ½ t olive oil, garlic, pepper, and salt.
  • 3 rub seasonings onto the tenderloin.
  • 4 wrap the tenderloin in bacon and place into the roaster.
  • 5 add the remaining oil to a frying pan and cook the onions and mushrooms until they’re tender.
  • 6 put onions and mushrooms into the roaster with the tenderloin and add the water.
  • 7 bake for 30-40 minutes.
