Asparagus Pasta

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 dashes hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb cooked mostaccioli pasta
- 1 lb fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet, cook garlic, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil and butter for 2-3 minutes.
- 2 add asparagus and pepper.
- 3 saute until asparagus is crisp-tender (about 8-10 minutes).
- 4 add parmesan cheese; mix well.
- 5 pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.
- 6 sprinkle with additional shredded parmesan if desired.
- 7 serve immediately.
