Asparagus Pasta

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 dashes hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 lb cooked mostaccioli pasta
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, cook garlic, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil and butter for 2-3 minutes.
  • 2 add asparagus and pepper.
  • 3 saute until asparagus is crisp-tender (about 8-10 minutes).
  • 4 add parmesan cheese; mix well.
  • 5 pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.
  • 6 sprinkle with additional shredded parmesan if desired.
  • 7 serve immediately.
