Aunt Renee's Baked Potato Soup

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup potato flakes
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 large baked potatoes, diced with skin
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 combine flakes and broth, set aside.
  • 2 heat butter in pan and add flour.
  • 3 add milk and broth mixture.
  • 4 stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 5 simmer until soup is hot and thick.
  • 6 serve topped with shredded cheese, bacon and chives.
  • 7 dip with favorite bread.
  • 8 and lastly -- enjoy! :).
