Aunt Sheri's Romesco Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup almonds (unsalted is best)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar roasted red peppers or 2 fresh red bell peppers, roasted
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 place almonds in the food processor and process until finely chopped.
  • 2 peel garlic and add it.
  • 3 add rosemary and oregano.
  • 4 pulse and finely chop garlic and herbs.
  • 5 drain peppers and add them.
