Asparagus Casserole

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 cups cooked asparagus
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 4 slices processed cheese
  • 1/2 cup ritz cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 dash garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 sauce: melt butter; add flour& stir until smooth.
  • 2 add milk, salt, pepper& garlic& stir until boiling.
  • 3 lower heat& stir continuously until thick.
  • 4 add cheese& stir until melted.
  • 5 place asparagus in a greased casserole dish.
  • 6 arrange egg slices over asparagus.
  • 7 pour sauce over all.
  • 8 melt 2 t.
  • 9 butter& stir in cracker crumbs.
  • 10 sprinkle crumbs over top of the casserole.
  • 11 bake@ 300 for 40 minutes.
