Anna's Spicy Pinto Beans

Ingredients

- 1 lb pinto beans
- 1 small yellow onion
- 3 -4 jalapenos or 3 -4 serrano peppers, or
- 1 habanero pepper
- 8 -10 garlic cloves
- 2 -3 ham hocks
- water, to cover beans by 2 inches
- black pepper
- salt
Recipe
- 1 pick beans and soak overnight if you want.
- 2 put beans in slow cooker or pressure cooker.
- 3 add diced onion and peppers, crushed or minced garlic, ham hocks and black pepper.
- 4 cover with water, 2-3 inches above ingredients (more or less depending on how saucy you want them).
- 5 cook in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or.
- 6 cook in pressure cooker for 30-40 minutes.
